I have DELL's 5650 MULTIMEDIA SURROUND Sound speakers w/ subwoofer from my previous desktop, but now have an Asus laptop. Is it possible to hook them up somehow to my laptop?Is there a way to hook up Dell surround sound speakers to my Asus Laptop?Of course it's possible! The thing is - it will look really ugly. Those speakers were built for desktop computers - not laptops.
You will have cables from the computer to the speakers all the time, and your laptop won't be working as a laptop anymore since you won't be able to take it away with you. I suggest you skip the speakers, and stay with the built-in speakers in your asus laptop. That's what most of my customers do, even though the sound may not be the best.
