How accurate is Dell's estimated delivery date?

I just ordered a Dell Studio 15. I didn't change any hardware or software. Will it arrive earlier than the stated estimated date of delivery?How accurate is Dell's estimated delivery date?Erm, well my new Studio 1745 said it would take nearly 2 months to arrive, instead it arrived on my door within 3 weeks which was kind of unexpected as my order status suddenly went from pre-production to shipped in one day, then it was delivered the next day.
