I have had a DELL inspiron 1420 for about 2-3 years. All of a sudden my battery is no longer charging. When i unplug the adapter, my laptop automatically shuts off. My DELL laptop battery is no longer charging, but the adapter is plugged in. What to do?for a laptop battery, the avg charging cycle is about 300 times. Since your laptop is about 2-3 years, i think it's time for getting a new battery if you don't want to buy a new laptop.
