I just ordered a new Dell Inspiron laptop today. I customized some aspects of it, plus am ordering it in a colour, so I realized it might take awhile to arrive. However, the estimated arrival date is October 5th!

I'm getting a Dell Inspiron 1525 for Christmas and i was wondering how i could transfer all of my music files from the XP to the Vista. I dont want to use CDs or e-mail. How do you reboot a DELL Windows XP computer?I found you the guidebook for your PC. The link I am providing will ask you to download a .pdf as soon as you click it. When you open the .pdf go to page 11 there are specific windows re-installation steps for a Dell PC with a Dell recovery disk. I have had to use the recovery disk on my dimension 8300 a few times, it takes about an hour but its pretty straight forward. Also with the OEM recovery disk there is no need (most of the time) to put in a key or register windows (its per-registered, and the key is embedded in the PC's BIOS) I hope this helps you some.(I am sorry about the link that automatically starts the download, I could not find it anywhere else except Dells site)

Absently tugging out the splinters and fragments of rope imbedded in his heavily freckled skin, a boy contemplated the distant beach. The edge of a vast continent was barely visible over a wide expanse of waves, just a thin strip of white that shimmered in the oppressive heat.
From his place in the crow鈥檚 nest Andrew McCoy could just make out a dark ribbon of colour hovering above that far-away shore. Recalling what little he had been told about the journey鈥檚 destination, he guessed that this band of darkness might be the mouth of the strange jungle he would soon be asked to enter.
Tired after a morning spent in the sun, Andrew sat down on the small circular platform, his knees bent and bare feet flat against its tall wooden sides. Sighing, he wiped his dripping forehead with the back of his hand, gasping in pain as salty sweat invaded the raw little wounds he had created with each splinters鈥?extraction. A breeze played across his face as he rubbed his stinging hand; its clean scent a welcome change after a long voyage spent amongst a crew that worked hard and smelt like it. Something about the word choices take away from the historical value of the piece. I expect the language to be more formal although still informal for that time period. Again something about it was lacking for me. I knew when it should have been around (as far as time) but I wasn't truly there.
I don't mind that the storyteller is so young but at the same time a part of me hopes he ages at least to 16 soon. Mainly because historically their thought processes are more formal than what we have today and he will be better at telling the same story.

Not only was the whistling exceptionally bad, but rather than being a common, bawdy ditty that one would expect to hear from the lips of a sailor, the melody was a charming piece of classical music. It doesn't suck but you do have some obvious errors. For one you should always Show not Tell your story, and all you have here is one long Tell. You also overwrite, giving way too many details and information when none are warranted to advance the story line.

Iron Man became an outlaw and was told to give up since, you know, it is the law. Iron Man goes on the run and tries to clear his name.
Death of Captain America after a drawn out process by the writers to prove he is no longer of any value and that he is outdated. Mint is more than just complete, it really has to look brand new. Most new comics aren't even in mint. In your list of "mint" comics there's one with the # missing! That's way way waaaay not mint. Use http://www.e-bigs.net/freetool.php to determine grade. Look them up at http://comicbookrealm.com for pricing.
As to where to sell, try craigslist. You should price them at no more than half the price you looked up at comic book realm, and be prepared to accept a lower offer. Old comics is a buyer's market now. If a comic book shop will even take them, they'd offer you no more than 20% of the price you looked up, and then they'd have to try to find someone willing to pay as much as you looked up to buy from them. So selling them on craigslist for half of the price you looked up is a plus for you, and a good deal for the hypothetical buyer since he doesn't have to pay comic shop prices.

so far the new marvel Studios have came up with iron-man and hulk(loved them).at the end of hulk, general ross was talking to stark and stark said something about starting a team (taking credit from nick fury).well,next year is captain america and late 2009 or early 2010 is the thor movie. are they going to have make a hank pym,scarlet witch and vision movie?what about a shield movie?is it going to be 2017 when the avenger movie comes? i myself have lots of favorites from the classic spidey to the odd little howard the duck and every hero in between. the marvel universe is filled with all the cool ones!!! but call me a cornball i dont care CAPTAIN AMERICA is in my top three of all time. john wayne with some super syrum in him and a kick butt shield. that's my guy!!! rounding out my top three are colossus from x-men fame and of course wolverine. SNIKT!!! SNIKT!!!!(claw popping sound effects).

Spider-Man... because he struggles to be a human and a superhero... his costume is great... he has great villains... truly fun and exciting...
The Flash... I always preferred the version drawn by Carmine Infantino, but The Flash really made the most of his powers... not just fast, but he learned to vibrate through walls (!) and could "control all his molecules (!)" which was very cool... and the ring with the compressed costume? Also unique %26amp; cool...
Dr. Strange... I love this guy, always have and always will... he completely stretches the ideas of what a superhero is and what reality is... plus, he ain't no teenager! If you follow his origin chronologically (med school, years as a doctor, years as a drunken loser, and years in training) he had to be at least 50 years old when he started... and his mentor The Ancient One was several hundred years old when he finally died/became one with the Universe...

The Incredible Hulk was soooooo much better than The Hulk, I think this is to do with great directors and actors realizing the plaudits that can come from something that maybe in the past was seen as a laughing stock of Holywood where comic book heros were a joke. (Take the 1st captain america and Flash films for example). Also wanted some feedback on wheather or not there will be an avengers or shield movie with Iron man and Hulk in the mix (If you've seen the movies then you'll know what I mean?????????). I agree that the marvel movies have gotten a lot better. But You're thinking too far back. They JUST RECENTLY got better. I'm talking JUST The Incredibly Hulk and Iron-Man. Although the Spiderman movies were insanely popular (and I admit that I love to watch them), they're just mediocre as comics and movies. As well as the X-men movies, although I am excited to see a Wolverine spin-off.The Incredible Hulk was 500 times better than the Hulk and I think it was mostly due to Edward Norton and the direction. Especially the direction. And Iron-Man is the best Marvel superhero so I expected his movie to be spectacular. I could not imagine anyone pulling off Iron-man's character flaws and humor as well as Robert Downey Jr did. He is Iron-Man.
As far as an avengers movie is concerned, there is with 100% certainty going to be one. That's why Robert Downey Jr was in the end of The Hulk saying "I'm putting together a team" I can't wait. They're in the pre-planning period according to imdb, but it's actually kicking-off which is good news.
And for comic book movies in general, I'm glad the public has started enjoying them. I love to share the superhero love.

I agree that the marvel movies have gotten a lot better. But You're thinking too far back. They JUST RECENTLY got better. I'm talking JUST The Incredibly Hulk and Iron-Man. Although the Spiderman movies were insanely popular (and I admit that I love to watch them), they're just mediocre as comics and movies. As well as the X-men movies, although I am excited to see a Wolverine spin-off.The Incredible Hulk was 500 times better than the Hulk and I think it was mostly due to Edward Norton and the direction. Especially the direction. And Iron-Man is the best Marvel superhero so I expected his movie to be spectacular. I could not imagine anyone pulling off Iron-man's character flaws and humor as well as Robert Downey Jr did. He is Iron-Man.
As far as an avengers movie is concerned, there is with 100% certainty going to be one. That's why Robert Downey Jr was in the end of The Hulk saying "I'm putting together a team" I can't wait. They're in the pre-planning period according to imdb, but it's actually kicking-off which is good news.
And for comic book movies in general, I'm glad the public has started enjoying them. I love to share the superhero love.

I agree with you. The Incredible Hulk was way better than The Hulk. The Hulk had a good origin story but it just didn't have enough action. The Incredible Hulk had a good story and lots of action. I was so happy when I found out the Abomination was in the movie. I can't wait for the next one, with The Leader (aka Samuel Sterns). You are so very right. If Marvel continues to have people who have a genuine knowledge and love of the characters and they take their time w/ producing these films, this trend could continue for a long time and we're the lucky ones to benefit from it.

DC's got their trinity with Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. They are of vast importance within the universe, though sales-wise it's probably more like Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern. So in your opinion who are the Marvel equivalent in terms of in story importance.
For me:
1) Captain America: He's that guy that everyone else looks up to.
2) Reed Richards: The smartest man in the marvel universe and has made a ton of important discoveries.

Since Samuel L. Jackson, filling the Nick Fury role of SHIELD, asked Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) at the end of Iron Man about forming a team and Tony Stark hinted at the same scenario to Gen. Ross at the end of Incredible Hulk, when are we actually going to get an Avengers movie? I keep searching and nothing is popping up as if its in production or not. I know Marvel wants to get out Thor, Wolverine, and Captain America first, which makes sense to do before making Avengers. Comic Beatdown: Dick Grayson vs Bucky Barnes?
You've got to be a bit of a fanboy for this one!
Dick Grayson, the original boy wonder, the best Robin, Nightwing and now Batman himself. One of my favorite all time characters, just because of what he represents, what he stands for, and he's achieved and what he can be.
Bucky Barnes, the legendary side kick to Captain America, who similar to dick, has replaced his mentor as the new Captain America.
Both awesome hand to hand, both tacticians, both kinda badass. Bucky's a trained killer while Dick has a strict moral code. How far will each of them go? Throw in the gadgets, the shield, the batarang, sniper rifles, and all the aerial combat you can handle.

Although I'm a huge Batman fan, i'll have to give this one to Bucky... both are almost equals except for 3 things:
1. Bucky has a cybernetic left arm with superhuman strength and enhanced reaction time.
2. He trained under a real war (WWII)

I say Bucky only due to having a machine gun and a cybernetic arm. Dick is as good as Batman, but Bucky is way more acrobatic and has been around for quite a long time. I think Bucky can defeat Dick, but it will be a tough keep away type battle.

Top 5 favourite superheroes and why?
I was wondering what kind of superhero movies in your mind are the best for now and why.
My top 5 are: 5. Iron Man- Come on, I love his Iron man suit and he kicks total butt. I didnt too much care for his second movie but he rocks.
4. Thor- This guy has a hammer that can just whoop just about anyone who gets in its way and I think we can all agree we're not messing with Thor.
3. Captain America- I love his determination and bravery and his never give up attitude. The shield is also a nice touch and that rocks as well.

1.) Superman. I don't give a flying crap what anyone else says about him or if people like him or not, he's always been cool to me and he always will be. I've gotten too much ridicule for liking (loving) the "boyscout". Superman ISN'T cool, he's far beyond cool. Cool is just something to describe that a certain group of people like, Superman is epic. Nothing succeeds epic. He's surrounded by gun-loving, hiding in the shadows, lets-kill-the-bad-guys "heroes". Superman sets the bar for heroes, and quite high.
2.) Batman. Batman was the first hero that I actually read, so he's not going anywhere on the list. After everything Bruce (I'm just talking about Bruce, not Grayson or anyone else) has been through, he still gets up everyday to make his city better. As corny as I just made it sound, that's one of the reasons I like him. His villains are amazing too.
And his comics are great.
3.) Spider-Man. He's absolutely hilarious and gives me a break from the all dark, brooding heroes that seem to be trending today. His comics are light-hearted and give me a great laugh.
4.) Flash. His villains are fantastic and the comics are awesome. I don't know what else to write here because it's pretty obvious how great this guy is.
My favorite Flashes go in order: Barry, Bart, Wally, and Jay.
5.) Green Lantern. His comics are amazing and I'm not just talking about the Green Lantern Corps, I'm talking about all of the other "colors". Blue, black, orange, red, etc. Incredibly interesting.

1. THOR, because I like the fact he is extremely powerful and yet vulnerable enough to still sometimes lose. He is a powerhouse and yet magical as well. I like that he can fly, but only with the aid of his hammer. There's plenty of depth to his character. He's a warrior, but he's a warrior that cares. I like that he isn't guaranteed to win every fight (unlike a certain super hero in a red cape) which makes his fights entertaining.
2. WOLVERINE. He's like Clint Eastwood with claws. I like that he's considered one of the best fighters in the world and is able to fight people way more powerful than himself, lose and still not die because of his healing factor. I like that he doesn't fear anyone and doesn't give a damn what people think.
3. BALDER, because he is similar to Thor, only weaker and because he doesn't have a bad bone in his body and he tries his best to do the right thing.
4. The Punisher, similar to Wolverine, except he can be stupid at times and endangers innocent people, which is why I have him at 4.
5. DEADPOOL, at 5 because technically he's not a hero and can be evil at times, which is one reason I have him a 5.
5) Jaime Maddrox (Multiple Man of the Xmen, X-Factor, etc) - At first, the idea of his power 'only' being able to create copies of himself seems a bit dull... but I really love what they have done with his character for 2 main reasons - #1, i love the idea of reabsorbing multiples to learn what they have learned... like sending one multiple to learn kung-fu, and another to learn a foreign language, and #2 - i love the whole splitting of his personalities into different versions of himself, as multiples...
4) Dr. Strange - I've always loved the arcane magic - and the story of his redemption is just brilliant. That's all.
3) The Martian Manhunter - J'onn J'onzz - Kind of like Superman...except WAY better. :) Let's take most of Superman's powers... add on invisibility, intangibility, being able to read minds, shape-shift, and instead of being vulnerable to kyrptonite, he has a fear of fire...which he conquers, in a sense...
2) Black Panther - (full disclosure: I am friends with someone who worked on the comic a few years ago) - I was never a big fan, but then again I only barely knew him from the Avengers... When I realized he is a sort of "African-ninja-batman/iron man" hybrid, I really started to dig him. Sadly, I don't have much hope for him coming to the big screen...but you never know, as Marvel wants to be churning out 3-4 Marvel movies a year, starting in 2013... Here's to hoping... (and hoping it doesn't SUCK...)

(at least in the 'you dont have to have powers to be amazing' kind of way) I love his intelligence, dark humor, and the integration of his martial arts, technology, and ninja-mystique... I love the concept that Batman is considered a match for both psychopathic serial killers, and uber-powered alien beings... I could go on for hours...
1. Namor the Sub-Mariner -- from the forties when he was romancing Betty Page and showing his affection for New York the way Gojira did his/hers for Tokyo if the Human Torch wasn't around.
2. Dr. Strange. As Stan Lee said this was his reaction to CHANDU the MAGICIAN and the media versions really need a gong.
3. The mighty Thor. Again in the original -- in his origin he first fights alien invaders. At one point on Olympus he meets two of the Genies from the Thief of Baghdad. Can you say camp? The idiots who made the new movie can't but that is what Thor is about.
4. Ibis the invincible. See my comments about two but Dr. Strange is Marvel and Ibin was Fawcett -- more for kids but with Schaffenberger art still nice.
5. Phantom Stranger from the Seventies. The list would go on but Phantom Stranger when Aparo was drawing him was like the best of Hellboy. Which would be next on my list.
