Should i add more ram, get a better graphics card or something else?I am into video editing with adobe premiere pro but it doesnt work well on my dell inspiron 531s. What should? The specs on a Dell Inspiron 531s indicate that there's 2GB of RAM installed. Software like PPro use up a lot of memory when running and if you have multiple applications open while trying to run PPro, it can bog down your performance. CS4 lists 2GB of RAM as the minimum amount, but in my experience, it really needs 4GB or more to run efficiently. I would try to add as much memory as you can.

I had Premiere that wasn't working on my comp. It was CS4. So I bought CS3 and it works. You have to see which Windows your Premiere is compatible with. Other than that, I'm not sure.
