I have an eraser program that is supposed to be good enough for the military, which is supposed to be similar to writing zeroes to the drive. My only concern is that I do not have any of the original Dell drivers stored on a disk. I do however have my Windows CD. A simple format during the windows installation will make it like new again..
You want to make sure you have the network drivers, you can do without all the rest but get your network drivers first and save them on a usb/cd. Windows update should pick up most of them if your installing 7.
