I am looking to completely clear out my Dell Latitue D 620, How should I go about doing this?

I have an eraser program that is supposed to be good enough for the military, which is supposed to be similar to writing zeroes to the drive. My only concern is that I do not have any of the original Dell drivers stored on a disk. I do however have my Windows CD. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.I am looking to completely clear out my Dell Latitue D 620, How should I go about doing this?if you go into your BIOS while your computer is booting, you can set the boot order to cd-drive first, rather than the harddrive that has windows. this will allow you to pop in your windows disk, and then format your harddrive, clearing it out as if it was a new harddrive.I am looking to completely clear out my Dell Latitue D 620, How should I go about doing this?Writing 0's to the drive is kinda unnecessary unless there is something that you want to make sure is off there. A simple format during the windows installation will make it like new again..

You want to make sure you have the network drivers, you can do without all the rest but get your network drivers first and save them on a usb/cd. Windows update should pick up most of them if your installing 7.
