How much will it cost to replace my DC power jack socket for my Dell laptop?

I have a Dell latitude d600 laptop. The DC power jack needs replaced and I don't think I can do it by myself. I've seen new DC power jacks on ebay for less than $10. If I decided to go to a computer store to get it installed, how much around am I looking to pay?
