Turn a stop sign into a captain america shield?

Hi i have this stop sign its not very big maybe a little more than a foot in diameter, I was curious if anyone know how to make this into a Captain America shield, Weird question I know, but any help would be appreciated.Turn a stop sign into a captain america shield?
well since the movie is coming out i'm sure you could easly buy a replica or toy captain america sheild.

But I wouldn't bother with that thing. If I was going to make one myself I would get one of those sausers, for sledding, trim it down to size with sherrs, paint it, and gorilla glue straps on the inside.
