Well, I mean at the start of the movie they seem to have found captain america's shield. And we all know that captain america went down with the plane at the end of the movie. And at the end of the movie stark was looking for captain america. So my question is, when was he found? And who found him? The ship was found by a Russian oil team 18 hours before the guys from Washington arrived there. So, technically, neither Stark nor Shield found the ship. And to really answer your question, it was Shield that found Cap's shield and unseen to us, Cap himself. Remember when that one guy says to call the Colonel even though it was 3 AM? He said "HE" waited long enough (Steve Rogers). if you watch the end nick fury tells him he was frozen in the arctic for 70 years so 70 minus the date from 2011 it couldn't have been stark or shield they would be dead it he was found by people exploring in the arctic by chance
