Comic book fans dont you feel like the Captain America death and rebirth storyline and the Batman's are alike?

Like how both men were supposedly shot and killed, but instead were sent to different time-lines? or how about the story lines where they had to fight to get their respected superhero identities back from their replacements in the story lines, "Who will wield the Shield?" and "Battle for the Cowl"?Comic book fans dont you feel like the Captain America death and rebirth storyline and the Batman's are alike?
Definitely. But they are actually not the only ones. Frankly, I thought Captain America's continuity was bad and Batman's was so much worse it was a genuine accomplishment. Ironically, those two characters who "did him in" (with their usual lack of panache) were created by Jack Kirby as heavies for Jimmy Olsen when he did that strip. He of course created Captain America with Joe Simon and they proved once again NOBODY handles Kirby characters as l well as Kirby ('cept sometimes Simonson ;-))Comic book fans dont you feel like the Captain America death and rebirth storyline and the Batman's are alike?
