This is a weird question but stay with me. If I wanted to have a shield like Captain America'a what metal would it be made of... because no duh there's no such thing as vibranium. And how thick would it be. I'm just sort of interested and what could it withstand.Captain America Shield?

Do you want a light shield that's fairly sturdy, or a tough shield that's practically indestructible?
Diamond would be the best bet for a substance that would survive that.
