One thing about the hulk is that when angry enough he is a cosmic force of strength. I do believe it was implied that he did break cap's shield in the meastro series.
Vibranium is not stronger than adamantium. Cap's shield is not made of pure vibranium, anyway.

Adamantium makes the shield strong. That is why the shield is bulletproof. Vibranium makes the shield vibration resistant and impact resistant. That is why Cap doesn't get knocked backward when a thousand rounds all hit his shield at once. There are plenty of things that could affect the shield-- magnetism, acid, electricity, spider man's web will stick to it-- but I'm not sure the Hulk is on the short list.
Didn't he actually do that in that whole "Maestro" story line where he goes and meets himself as a dictator in the future?
Can't remember for sure..but I thought he had the broken shield in a trophy case....
Captain America has had many shields in the past - im not sure hich he is using now, but im not convinced it is made of vibranium. However, Hulk could kill Captain America - but his shield would have to remain in tact because Cable was able to wield it in the future long aftr Cap was dead, so i believe the shield is unbreakable.
During the Avengers, when Jenifer Walters was on the run, they entered her at Bone,Idaho.
Jenifer's cousin Bruce Banner showed up to calm She Hulk down(Jenifer managed to "Hulk out"), Hawkeye(the Avengers did manage to show up) shot Banner with an arrow which caused Banner to "Hulk out".
During the ensuing battle between She Hulk %26amp; the Hulk, Cap threw his shield at the Hulk. The Hulk tried to crush it, with no success.
Thor did put a dent in Cap's shield with his hammer, during the Avengers/Iron Man/Thor crossover. Thor also repaired the shield by "rubbing" his hammer on it. Thor's hammer can do something like that, given it's mystical properties.

I don't care the Cap's shield was made way before they discovered Adamantium. So if the hulk can only bend Adamantium, then he 'll turn the Cap's shield into confetti.

Read up on wikipedia - according to them, Maestro didn't break the shield. He was too strong to use it to block a Maestro punch. He overloaded that whole "Vibrating/Asorbing" thing.
Seriously though.... if you can lift a mountain range, I don't think there should be any solid object that can absorb all the force from your punch.

well my friend...although i dont understand many of these huge words that end in "anium" i belive the hulk cannot break captain america's shield. its made of super metal stuff and it glows i guess....and plus its got red white and blue on it...so hell no hulk cant break it!!!
Yes, Hulk would break vibranium.
No the metal that it is made from can not be broken just like Wolverine's skeleton which is made from adamantium. Vibranium is stong enough to allow adamantium to be carved.
