My friends don't agree....?

In X-Men Evolution, Wolverine was in the war with Captain America. Then he visited Captain America when he was frozen at a S.H.I.E.L.D. base. %26amp; in Iron Man, Samuel L Jackson played Nick Fury, which is SHIELD. %26amp; in X-Men Evolution, HYDRA created Wolverine (Weapon X to them) %26amp; X23.... SO MANY QUESTIONS! plz answer! ITS ALL CONNECTED ISNT IT?????My friends don't agree....?
Wolverine was born a mutant. the Weapon-X program just infused him with Adamantium. I'm not sure the Weapon X program was created by Hydra. The Super-Soldier project was theirs initially but I could be wrong, but I thought It was created by Shield to counteract Hydra. My friends don't agree....?
well they are all based on DC comics and yes there is a lot of overlapping. Nick Fury is seen in "Iron Man" and they both iron man and Nick Fury are talking in the Hulk movie. then at the end of the Thor movie you hear about S.H.I.E.L.D and after the credit you see Nick Fury talking to someone about the portal and Thor and the power he has. It would not supprise me that this was all planned because they have prob. known that one day they are going to do the Avengers (which incorparates all these characters in the group called the Avengers) as a movie which has Iron Man, Thor, Nick Fury, Captain America. and so forth.

Super soldier vs super soldier?

Captain America vs Solid Snake, who would win? I can't answer this one, it's a tough one. Remember, neither of them have super powers, but both of them are way above being average men. Solid Snake was literally bread and born to fight. A clone of possibly the greatest soldier of all, "Big Boss" and then there's Steve Rogers, A.K.A "Captain America," a man with immense courage, an unbreakable will to do "what's right" and an incredible fighter with an amazing shield/weapon.

In this fight, there are no weapons, except for Cap's shield, which he is allowed to have because it wouldn't be right if he didn't have it and as this is a fight, it's possible for Snake to get the shield, anyway, who wins this?

By the way, this isn't a fight to the death, just a fight til one is knocked out or can't move anymore.Super soldier vs super soldier?
Captain America no doubt, When he was made into the super soldier all his senses and abilities were heightened to the max of human capabilities, he is the strongest, fastest, smartest human around.Super soldier vs super soldier?
It would be tough but I think Cap would win

What do you guys think?

what you guys think of Chris Evans as Captain America and Chris Hemsworth and Ryan Reynolds cast as Thor and Green Lantern im intrested in your opinions also what you think of the costumes i think Chris Evans was an ok choice rather than the actor i was considering to wield the shield Chris Hemsworth was a great choice and i think Ryan Reynolds can pull it off as hal jordan except dc always screw up their great charecters and superhero movies except for batmanWhat do you guys think?
How do you figure that DC always screws up there main character movies except Batman. Superman 1 %26amp; 2 are great. Plus all the films like Watchmen and V for Vendetta are great.

It's marvel that literally has just a few good movies. Spider-man 2, X-men 2, Iron Man, Incredible hulk and that's it. Marvel screws up everything.

Punisher, Fantastic 4, Spider-man 3, Iron man 2, Hulk, Daredevil, Elecktra, Man-thing, Wolverine, and countless others are terrible. Marvel sucks and their movies are shallow hollow hollywood crud.

I'm sure the actors will be fine, it's the stories and direction you have to worry about.

  • Avengers! kid version anyone know about them?

there was like a a new version of captain america but it was a kid it had he's clothes and shield all that also there was a bee and others you know the names and where i can find the info????Avengers! kid version anyone know about them?
The Young Avengers - Patriot is the one similar to Captain America, he's actually the grandson of a man who was in the original super-soldier test program, where they tested the serum on black men...

Original members were Patriot, Hulkling, Asgardian (now Wiccan) and Iron Lad. But Iron Lad turned out to be...oh, I don't want to spoil it.

Later members are Hawkeye, Stature (daughter of Ant-Man), Speed, and the revamped Vision. You can buy the recent 6-issue miniseries "Young Avengers Presents" - each issue was a story focusing on one of the current team members.

or check Wikipedia for a detailed breakdown of the characters - just go to wikipedia.org and search on "Young Avengers".

EDIT: Iron Lad is not on the "Current roster" - once his identity was revealed, he left the team and surrendered to his destiny to become Kang the Conqueror in the future.Avengers! kid version anyone know about them?
they're the "Young Avengers" formed by Nathaniel Richards A.K.A. Iron Lad he is destined 2 become Kang the Conqueror in the future....he downloaded the remnants of the then-destroyed Vision's operating system into his armor. This revealed a fail safe plan created by the android to reform the Avengers should they disband or fall in action. Through this plan, the young Kang assembled his new team, the Young Avengers, with the sole purpose of defeating his future self and reshaping his own future. He modeled his armor after the Avenger Iron Man, calling himself Iron Lad.

    Current Roster

    Iron Lad(Looks like Iron Man)

    Hawkeye(Looks like a mix of hawkeye/mockingbird

    Hulkling(a kree-skrull offspring-prefers 2 look like the hulk)

    Patriot(Looks like captain america)

    Speed(looks like quicksilver)

Stature(looks like mix of giant man/wasp)

Vision(Died during a skrull battle having he's head blown off)

    Wiccan(looks like Thor)

People treat their 10 minute doggerel (not very good at that, and requiring two authors) waaaay too seriously.

    Super Hero Brain Scale

Superman had a big bread pan

    But Batman's brain was bigger.

    Spiderman's was in high demand,

Though the Hulk's was a big green giggler.

    No Supergirl's, hidden under curls

    Could outsmart Wonder Woman's Whip.

Electra's pearls whizzed around in whorls

    But Catwoman's quips were clipped.

This bring our tale to a sad travail,

    When of Aquaman we speak

His wet brain-pail barely could set sail

'Cause his welks were w-eely weak.

    And Captain America's

    pronouncements hysterical

    I wouldn't shield them

    from Cyclops eyes so critical

    Not all heroes kenn-analytical

(I hope that's not too political*)

    Maybe you'll be hilaritical;

    reading this list so pitiful.

[I honestly saw Funky Monkey's name and thought it was his post.

*Libby please, block me if that is where we stand. I can't remember anything agreeable enough about you and me to be called an agreement. Apparently this poem WAS too political YAP-wise.]Somebody didn't like this joke. Maybe you will laugh.?
Can anything be TOO political yap-wise?
    Clever guy - you. ;)
Hi HH, I did chuckle through it, but only recognized the names as super heros comic characters, didn't figure out if they are connected to people in YAP, but it was worth readin. If I ever get super hero status, (not lookin for it), maybe I'll call myself "Stuper Girl" ???Somebody didn't like this joke. Maybe you will laugh.?
You forgot Mighty Mouse and Under Dog
    Sweet Polly Purebred, cried
Simon Barr Sinister (that bad guy who always lied)
    Was defeated by my Sweetheart
    many a morning on TV
If you think I'm too political
He'll bite you on the knee

So there, and all such other stuff.

(Someone should report this.) YOURS, not mine. Mine is more politically correct than YOURS.) *sniffs haughtily*
I suppose Aristotle may have found some rhythm

so his lyres could add melodies Aeolian to it.

:) LOL (:Somebody didn't like this joke. Maybe you will laugh.?
Sounds like the Superhero Movie to end all Superhero movies...

Why isn't Butterball from Marvel a more better superhero?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterball_%28Emery_Schaub%29#Powers_and_abilities

It say's he's invulnerable to all forms of physical harm, even mental attacks. The fact that he's stuck in his chubby form shouldn't hinder them from trying to find ways to make him better. Like getting the mutant Leech, to dampen his powers.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leech_%28comics%29#Powers_and_abilities

During the time his powers are removed, he can be trained, become physically fit, etc. Heck make some random super soldier formula for him. If they thought of that, he'd be like a way better Captain America:

    1. Wouldn't need a shield because of super invulnerability

    2. Infinite stamina, can run at top speed forever! Captain America at his fastest was being able to run a mile in a minute. Now imagine that speed but never stopping.

    3. Eternal youth, won't get old so he can last more than a life time.

    4. Since he's a registered mutant, the government can use him whenever they want.

So why isn't this being done? I know, i know... questioning comic book logic is insane but still does anybody agree that this guy could be one of the greatest superheroes? Why isn't Butterball from Marvel a more better superhero?
You make some points, but then he'd lose all aspects that make him likable. If he becomes all fit and in shape, he'd be just another superhero. Regardless, keeping him this way is more of an editorial move as to why it hasn't happened. And by the way, they said he wasn't invulnerable to all mental attacks.
